At Pride Northwest, we’re committed to empowering our LGBTQIA2S+ community to get involved, be visible and to take action through volunteering! Pride Northwest is building a model of Pride that honors Pride’s origins while also looking forward: acting and taking action in ways that build community and strengthen bonds, empowering action for change. 

We offer ongoing volunteer opportunities throughout the year. Join us in helping build community and honoring the history and purpose of Pride:

  • Let’s get started! Pride Northwest uses Galaxy Digital, a volunteer platform where you can register, track your hours, receive regular communications, sign up for new opportunities and receive important updates. Here’s how to get involved:

  • Thank you so much for registering to volunteer with Pride Northwest! We are excited to have you as part of our community!

    Now that you are registered in Galaxy Digital, you’ll begin receiving updates about upcoming volunteer opportunities. You can also log in at any time and browse available roles and sign up for opportunities that feel right for you.

    No previous experience required to volunteer. Each opportunity includes a description so you can self-select based on your interests, availability and comfort level. Some opportunities may require you to attend a brief online orientation before your shift- these orientations are designed to help volunteers feel prepared, informed, and supported in their roles.

    If you ever have questions, we are here to help. Thank you for supporting Pride Northwest with your time and dedication- we couldn’t do this work without you.

  • Pride Northwest is active year-round, with numerous volunteer opportunities. In addition to Pride season, which is a super busy time, we also offer ongoing volunteer opportunities throughout the year. From our Community Resilience efforts, Pride Elder Connections, and Black Rainbow Initiative (to name a few), to working with partners to uplift and support Oregon and SW Washington's LGBTQIA2S+ community, Pride Northwest's work offers volunteer opportunities throughout the year.
