Pride Northwest Community Support Wish List

Each year Pride Northwest holds a Fall and Winter Community Impact Drive. This effort supports organizations that focus on the needs of our unhoused and low-income community members. This wish list is part of that annual effort. Find our wishlist above! Thank you for your support!

Supply Drive Background:

The Drive was born during the pandemic to support our overall response efforts to the unhoused crisis that went through the roof, including the C3PO shelter project, food and supply distribution and engaging as a founding member of the PDX LGBTQIA2S+ Housing Collaborative. Supplies and donated funds were collected and distributed to people living outside. Having an organized drive allowed us to be more intentional and strategic in visibility and impact. In other words, doing it as a named drive turned it into a campaign that visibility could be focused around.

Our 2025 Impact (so far):

  • Popping up a temporary multi-day warming shelter that served over four dozen (both housed and unhoused) community members, during extreme winter weather.

  • Annual distribution of critical supplies like clothing, thousands of hygiene and warming products, and food to our unhoused and housing-insecure community members.

  • Direct financial support to ensure that housing insecure community members are able to STAY housed.

  • Fiscal sponsorship of several queer grassroots organizations serving our transgender community members, unhoused folx, and Pride efforts outside of the Portland metro region.
