We are delighted that you are part of the Pride celebration here in Portland. The 2008 Pride parade will be held on Sunday June 15th, stepping off at 11:15.The official parade line-up is posted above.
Due to street closures for the parade, groups should start arriving at 9:30am (especially those with large groups and anything that needs to be set up). We will have over a hundred groups and would like everyone to be in their designated places before 11:00am. Note that anyone checking in after 10:30am will loose there assigned space and be moved to the end of the line up.
One member of your group needs to check in at the registration table and get your placement numbers promptly upon arrival. Only parade vehicles are allowed into the staging area, and must clearly have their parade vehicles pass visible. Groups that have not paid their fee should bring a check with them as we will be asking for payment. Those who show up last minute will also be asked to pay and will get placed towards the end of the parade.
We look forward to another record year of participants, and appreciate your continued support of Portland's Pride.
If you have any questions, feel free to contact our Parade Coordinator.

Parade Line-up
We would like to take a moment and thank you all for your patience and understanding in regards to the Parade lineup. Due to the nature of the event most people would prefer to be in the beginning of the Parade, unfortunately there needs to be a beginning, middle and end. In the past two years the Parade has finished around 1pm. Our Parade committee sticks to a fair system making few concessions primarily for safety and animals. With the festival nearing quickly we can not accommodate request to move placements in the line up or have contingents switch placements. If you have registered after 4pm on May 31st you will be at the end of the parade, also at this time we will not be able to accommodate any request to place you with a particular organizations. Again we appreciate your understanding and thank you for your continued support.
