Loading and Setting Up Your Booth
We are pleased that your group will be at Portland Pride. There are a few special things going on this year. Here is information you need about your organization's booth at the festival:
Due There will be three loading and unloading areas. These areas will be open to access from 8:30-11:30am and 6:00-8:30pm on Saturday and Sunday. Remember, there will be no early break down of booths, you must keep your booth open during the hours of 12:00 to 6:00 Saturday and Sunday.
- Pedestrian Walkway. To access this area, travel East on SW Pine until you are on the park walkway.
- SW Stark To access this area, travel East on SW Pine until you reach Waterfront Park.
Please remember there are NO VEHICLES PERMITTED ON THE PARK GROUNDS. There will be four load in gates on site: Pedestrian Walkway on SW Pine, SW Oak, SW Stark, and South side entrance, just before Morrison Bridge.(You may not park under Morrison Bridge.) You will be given a 30 minute parking pass for Naito Parkway to load and unload your equipment. You will be sharing these access areas with other vehicles, pedestrians and cyclists. Please be patient and exercise extreme caution when entering and leaving these sites.
Because we do not have enough room to accommodate access to all vendors at the same time, please arrive at your designated loading time only and unload your vehicle in the allotted 15 minutes.
If you have further questions about the festival or coordinating your booth set-up, please contact our Festival Coordinator.
Volunteer and Save!
How would you like your organization to have maximum visibility and pay less for your booth space at Pride?
Pride Northwest is offering your group the opportunity to have an even greater presence at the Pride Festival by welcoming pride goers as they enter Waterfront Park. Your group could gain increased visibility and receive a $40 credit toward your booth fee. Think of the opportunity this will provide your group or business, while you help out our community. Wear your group's shirts or logos for an even greater impact.
Here are the details: If your organization provides at least 4 volunteers for the entrance gates to the pride festival for 2 hours, you will receive a $40 rebate on the cost of your booth space. 2 volunteers + 4 hours = $40 booth credit.
If you have more than 4 volunteers, great, everyone is welcome. If your group has fewer volunteers, you may combine with another group. Volunteers will be responsible for taking donations and giving out "I Support PRIDE" stickers. Two-hour shifts are available 11am to 6pm on both Saturday and Sunday.
If you have further questions, please contact our Volunteer Coordinator.
Booth Assignments
We try very hard to assign each vendor their preferred booth space, and are not able to accommodate requests for change after the assignments have been made. Although we rarely make modifications to our booth assignments, these booth locations are subject to change by us and are not final until Friday, June 16th.
Please remember to read our rules and regulations regarding vehicle access and other vendor requirements.
The vendor area of the festival will be open to the public from 12:00pm to 6:00pm on both Saturday and Sunday.
***Please note: Those of you who have a load in time between 8:00am - 9:00am; You also have the option of showing up any time after 11:00am. Please show up after 11:00 if you do not make your earlier schedule as a courtesy to those who are loading and unloading at their scheduled times. Thanks so much! We look forward to seeing everyone at the Festival!
