Entertainment Headliners
Portland Pride Festival organizers announced that they have secured two major and exciting Main Stage acts as headliners for the Pride Main Stage: Storm Large and the Balls of Portland, OR and God-Des & She of New York City, NY.
“After months of negotiation and working with schedules, we’re delighted to be able to secure acts of this magnitude and that are so popular among Festival goers,” stated Stef-Anie Wells, President of Pride Northwest, Inc., producers of the Portland Pride Parade and Festival. Entertainment Director, Joshua Ryan, added, “Our goal was to make the 2007 Pride celebration a world-class music event and having a line-up that includes Storm Large and the Balls and God-Des & She helps us accomplish that goal.”
Storm Large and the Balls
Storm Large is a singer well known to Portlanders. 2006 was a break out
year for the performer when she made the semi-finals of the CBS show,
Rockstar: Supenova. Supernova host, Dave Navarro, recorded a guitar track
on her single, “Ladylike” that debuted at #5 on the Billboard music charts.

God-Des & She
God-Des & She are a well-known, lesbian rap, hip-hop and singing duo who
also experienced a breakout year in 2006 when they appeared on the finale of
the hit show, The L Word. Hailing from New York City and have performed
many high-profile gigs including The Supperclub for Showtime and for GO NYC
Magazine. Theirs is a high-energy, sometimes profane, but always engaging
